Positive: Excellent service Negative: Food quality is literally trash. I'm convinced I could find anything offered at a questionable discount meat store. The meat tasted as if it was prepared from a $1 tv dinner; seriously not an exaggeration. Each side we tasted I'm confident came from a can. Disgusting. If you want real BBQ, do yourself a favor and visit Georgia Boys.
Friendly staff, quick and efficient. For dinner at 8pm food was still serviceable and tasty. Brisket was awesome also had burnt ends. Coleslaw was to die for, sweet & tasty 3 rd time we been there and we'll be back
Famous Dave’s BBQ really is good BBQ. Not everything is great, but I would say that it’s based on palette preference not because it’s actually bad. We tried the Georgia chopped pork, St. Louis Style Spare Ribs, Southside Rib tips, and the Brisket. Sides were Wilbur Beans, Coleslaw, and Mac & Cheese. The chopped pork was quite bland unless smothered in their delicious BBQ sauce and the Mac & Cheese had corn in it which changed the flavor so drastically that it was not something I enjoyed. However, those are flavor differences NOT a reflection of bad cooking. The rest of the meal was fantastic! The cornbread was perfectly sweet with an edge of savory and the meats were cooked until perfectly tender. The BBQ sauce was not overwhelming and none of the food needed any extra sauce. I highly recommend this restaurant if you’re someone who has a hard time finding BBQ you enjoy because you already have a place you love. They won’t disappoint. Total was $38 (no drinks, just water).
