Erté & The Peacock Lounge

Got there just in time for happy hour (and such a great one so highly recommended). Their HH menu has items not on their regular menu (worth it!). The food was fantastic. The drinks were delicious. The space was beautiful and spacious. Super chill vibe in the lounge. Little fancier in the dining room.

Happy hour with a friend.... The service was impeccable. The atmosphere comfortable. But the food was only so so. My friend had the $24 crab cake that appeared to be burnt and was very dry according to her. We each ordered the fondue. Mine was more like milk that had been flavored with cheese with some curdled globs in the bottom of it. Hers did not appear as if it was even melted cheese but a congealed glob in crock. The flatbread was fairly decent and tasty. It was my first time there and I'm sorry to say I probably would not go back.

The atmosphere and design are lovely, but I was surprisingly underwhelmed by the food, which is very expensive but tasted mediocre. The mushroom side was delicious but the oysters and scallops tasted fishy and the risotto bland. Gluten free options were not marked, and I had signs of gluten contamination after my meal. Celiac diners have many better choices in Minneapolis - skip this one.
