I can’t speak for the alcoholic beverages, but from a non-alcoholic’s standpoint, this place is amazing. The staff are generous, accommodating, and knowledgeable. Every dish that we ordered was superb. I’d especially recommend their animal lovers pizza and smashed potatoes. The ambiance was rustic and industrial but comfortable. I don’t review much anymore, but I feel like Earl Giles deserves 5 stars. Give this place a visit. You won’t regret it.
Substantial space! Decor with natural plants break up the span of the main area. Menu was limited to pizza and few appetizers/ sides but very thoughtfully done. The drink menu was larger. Cocktails have an array of crisp tastes and sharp fresh aromas. I forget the pizza we ordered but I’d try anything on the menu! It was delicious. Only downside was there are no TV’s. I can see this being a no go for people who want to watch games, play off games etc. Would have to see that limit their occupancy during those times because who doesn’t want fresh pizza’s, drinks and sports!
Earl Giles was such a great place! Living in NE I didn’t even know this place was close to me and I was so impressed. We ordered the Cesar salad, and a good trip pizza. Both were to die for. The pizza was quite rich but so palatable. We also got two varieties of the drinks on tap: pomegranate + orange which was quite sweet and blackberry + lavender which was my partners’ and my favorite. Finally, we ordered a Quincy cosmo, a safe drink that was delicious. I branched out and got a rabbit kick, which I’ll admit, I was super nervous for. But it was so delicious. My only gripe with this place was finding it was not very intuitive. It is behind Quincy Hall and there aren’t obvious signs. Not sure if this in the works? But I think if more people knew this place was here it would be even more successful. Highly recommend and I will definitely be back!
