Food is pretty good, service is some of the worst in Beverly Hills. That’s probably the reason they automatically add 18% gratuity to your bill, even if you eat there alone... There are a lot of great restaurants in the area to choose from, the staff here isn’t up to par, at least not the times I’ve been there. I’m a local resident and have been there twice now. First time for a late lunch, waited for 15 minutes until someone even came to the table (and no, it was not busy at all), then basically had to chase the server down for everything from ordering to getting a refill on water. Decided to give it another chance and went for breakfast with my family (wife and 4 kids). There were only two other tables occupied - basically empty. The bartender told us to sit wherever we like, we did. After 10 minutes of not even seeing a server, let alone being approached by one, we decided to get up and go to Nate and Al’s for breakfast instead. It takes a while to mobilize 4 kids - about 5 minutes.

We were in L.A. for a wedding and we stayed at The Sixty Beverly Hills. We ate at The Ella everyday for breakfast and had a wonderful dinner. The service was excellent and we absolutely adored our hostess Aala. What an absolute doll!! She was very attentive to mom who has disabilities and made her feel totally at home. Will definitely be back again!!

Great food, drinks, service and atmosphere. Have Ezra make you an Ella Old Fashioned. I’ll be going back for the duck wings and pasta al limone I’ve heard so much about
