Sat at the bar and ate for one. I saw a crew and man in charge that were very attentive and seemed to know a lot of people by name. In today's time where service is dead, this restaurant was quite refreshing. The food was delicious. The staff willing to talk and offer suggestions. The rare occasion I spotted someone not quite giving their all it seemed the whole team rallied, especially the guy in charge offering what seemed to be good hearted leadership steering to the correct direction. Maybe I came on a good night, but hands down this night was good. I hope my travels bring me back this way one day. If you're in the area, hungry, and want to see what service was like before the Covid killed it...come to this place.
While visiting family, I came to the restaurant twice in 10 days. I found the margaritas both times to be excellent. Any time you can actually taste the alcohol, you know you're getting your money's worth! I ordered the same combo plate both times. Enchiladas with chicken and the green verde sauce, delicious both times. My only ask would be maybe two salsas, red and perhaps a green salsa with the chips. With the lack of restaurants, and many empty properties in the area, this is a gem. Parking: The entrance to the restaurant is around the corner from the parking lot. Could be an issue in inclement weather. Seemed like an odd location in relation to the parking Wheelchair accessibility: Handicap parking is available, but again, a ways from the entrance.
We called ahead to ensure that their patio was dog friendly. We were told yes. We got there and there are two distinct signs that say no pets allowed. I went inside and asked and they pointed out a small table with a small umbrella in the sun saying that was their dog friendly table. No thank you! We chose not to eat there. I was really looking forward to a margarita, so I gave them two stars because the bar looked good from a distance.
