El Mexicano Grill

This was a typical local TexMex restaurant in small town TX. We say at the bar because the restaurant was quite busy. The food was pretty good and the portions were ample. The service was slow; although the bar tender was pretty attentive. I think the kitchen might have been backed up due to some large parties ahead of us. Fortunately, I was with good friends, so I didn't mind. All in all a fine experience. I took the rest of my chicken flautas home with me to enjoy later. Friends said the mixed fajitas and the enchiladas were good. Give it a whirl. I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

The waitress was wonderful but the food was SALTY. The charro beans were so salty we couldn't eat them. My husband and I both had enchiladas but different kinds and they were to salty too..The guacamole was good. The last time we went it was salty also but this time was much worse. My husband said he wouldn't be going back. Someone needs to hide the cooks salt!

I have eaten the fajitas twice now. So good. This is a small place with limited seating. The staff was excellent. The atmosphere was welcoming and helped with the waiting time. Looking forward to my next visit.
