El Maguey Florissant

Food was great. Service was horrible. Waiter had no social or welcoming contact, just walked up and stared at us. I finally asked a question about food and he shrugged shoulders and gave the least thoughtful answer possible. He just didn't seem interested in serving us.

The moment I saw they were about to open an "El Maguey" in my neighborhood, I went crazy! Great food and service! Their beans are delicious! My favorite is the "Steak Delight"! If you haven't been, YOU ARE MISSING OUT, period. Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly atmosphere! Parking: Plenty of parking! Dietary restrictions: Something for everyone!

I ordered a #5 combo it included one taco, a burrito, and beans. I also ordered a chicken taco salad from the kids menu because I wanted a small salad. My taco tastes so plain. The kids version of their taco salad had huge hunks of chicken that were not kid friendly at all. Please take a close look at my picture if you have kids. Notice the huge hunks of chicken in my kids chicken taco salad. I don't like hunks of meat in my salad. Take your time and dice the meat, please season it, and cook it tender. The burrito and beans were delicious ????. This location just recently opened in my neighborhood. I'll be sticking to the burrito and beans next time. Vegetarian options: They had vegetarian options on the menu.
