El Jimador Irmo

Ok, this was a new one for me. When we walked in I liked the atmosphere, the music and all the tv's around the room. The servers were attentive and the manager did check on the tables. The food was good. The fries serving was small, but the manager took care of that with a large plate of fries. I was impressed with the restaurant and we will go back, so if you happen to be in Irmo, SC on Lake Murray Blvd, stop by and check it out.

Service: 5/5 Speed: 10/5 Chips: 2.5/5 (too thick and not salted) Salsa: 4/5 Margarita: 4.5/5 Carnitas: 4.5/5 Rice and beans: 3.5/5 (needs more seasoning) Street corn (not on cob): 3.5/5 Portion size of carnitas was a bit disappointing, although they did taste great. Very tender and flavorful.

El Jimador seems to be lasting in this location! Other restaurants seem to fail pretty quickly, but I'm happy to see them doing well! The food is great. It's pretty standard from what you expect from a Mexican restaurant. The service was solid and the interior is super cute. Take a look at the ac vents at the ceiling!
