Maurice's BBQ Piggie Park

This has been a favorite place for over 25 years. We love the hash and rice. Unfortunately we left the area due to reassignment. We are now 2.5 hours away and we travel to Columbia a few times a year to stock up on hash for the freezer. The mustard base sauce is delicious, I grew up on red sauce. The pulled pork is awesome. I had the Mac and cheese this time and it was so creamy. The staff is always friendly. The restaurant has its self has always been very clean. My husband loves the banana pudding.

I was traveling through the area and decided to try out Maurice’s for the first time. This location was very easy to get in & out of with plenty of parking. Nice size dining area with plenty of tables. The service was good and fast. I ordered their BBQ sandwich plate with fries and baked beans. I have to say, this was the best BBQ I have ever tasted. I also used their famous Maurice’s golden mustard based sauce and really loved it. I can see why they have a table set up to sell all of their sauces in various size bottles. I bought a couple bottles for myself. Their fries were also very good, not soaked in grease. I will definitely be visiting Maurice’s BBQ Piggy Park again when I come through this area.

First time here. The golden bbq sauce was a surprise, but quit tasty. The sliced brisket was tender and juicy. The portion sizes were average to small. The prices were fair. I was pleased to get a sample before I chose my entree. The service was quick and they deliver your order to your table.
