Stumbled on this place for breakfast on an early drive to NC. Absolutely amazing biscuit. Ate it plain too. Good size, soft, moist. Didn't fall apart trying to eat it. Great balance between biscuit flavor with the durability of a roll. Seriously good biscuit.
My husband had eye surgery in Gainesville and we asked the Dr where could we grab a quick bite to eat. And he suggested this place.. oh my. We used the drive thru. We got the double bacon cheeseburger and fries. Everything was fresh and delicious and fast! Can't wait to go back there when he gets his other eye done!
I have been going to Double D for 42 years. But in last few years they are going down hill. I ordered breakfast with coffee. I finished my coffee later at my father's where me and him found a roach in bottom of my cup. I took pics and sent them to friends ,family. I called them twice and they hung up. First time said they to busy to talk. Second time I called back demand to speak to owner. I told them about it and they said they get me for harassment. Can you believe that. Me and people I know will not eat there any more. Nasty. If you value your health I wouldn't go there any more. Almost $8.00 for breakfast with a roach.
