Dimassi's Mediterranean Buffet

I love this place! It was very hard trying to get my wife to try it in the first place but when she started trying the food she fell in love with it. She's Mexican-American and I'm Italian-American so let's just say it's not our everyday food lol. But we love this place and we will definitely be back with some Friends and Family! Vegetarian options: Plenty to choose from if you are a vegetarian. Kid-friendliness: Very Kid Friendly! Parking: Plenty of parking in the free parking lot. Wheelchair accessibility: If your in a wheelchair you will easily access this amazing eatery! Dietary restrictions: Plenty to choose from if your on dietary restrictions.

This is a new style, in that you just walk in and go straight to the buffet line, and pay when you leave. No waiting or ceremonies. Upon entering you see a lovely forest row of fresh green deliciousness. Not your average salad, but tabbouleh, cucumber-tomato, spinach feta, and many more options of healthy, but delicious salads. The cabbage salad was one of my favorites. The carbs are few, but delightful: roasted potatoes, two varieties of beans with sauce, and what looks like home made pita breads and an assortment of hummus. Rice is also offered with every chicken dish, which leads to proteins: I believe their where four different types of chicken, a few beef and Lamb options; plus some other stuff I never got around to! Everything I tried was great. There are sauces too: garlic sauce is divine, tzatziki, hot sauce, tahini and a few others. This will be my new favorite! Healthy Mediterranean food with a good amount of spice and flavor!

I had lunch with a friend on Sunday. We decided to go to Dimassi's buffet. Fantastic choice. They have a great salad bar selection. I loved the variety of healthy meat dishes and cooked and raw vegetables that they offer. I have always told myself that I do not like short thighs, (I'm a leg and wing lady) but after trying the baked chicken thighs served on a mound of seasoned yellow rice, I concluded that I had been missing out. I also didn't eat lamb until I ate it at Dimassi's. I loved it! The fried chicken and fried fish were delicious also. I loved the friendly atmosphere of the restaurant. It's a great place to bring the entire family. There's something for everyone, including desserts and the ice cream cones. My friend and I were pleasantly surprised and we really enjoyed ourselves. And since the cost wasn't bad, we'll definitely come back again.
