Located at 12th Street Beach on Northerly Island. I stopped by on a Wednesday afternoon in June. Tables needed wiped down, trash needed emptied, and the customer service was unenthusiastic. I just got a beverage. Other customers seemed to be enjoying the Mexican food. Prices are okay. More than you want to pay, but less than what they could be sticking it to you for since they're the only option.
Good steak tacos and corn tortillas, was located in front of the Shedd when we went. Would try other items from there, was great to leave the Shedd and have tacos right outside and the view of the lake!
This place should definitely have a higher rating than it does. We got tacos after visiting the planetarium and they were DELICIOUS. The staff was so nice, the tacos were made quickly, and we were pleasantly surprised at how good they were. We even got seconds because we loved them so much. Highly recommend.
