Davani's

This restaurant came very well reviewed by many of our friends so our experience was probably not typical. We decided to try it because we wanted a nice, quiet, and low-key dinner. Instead we were sat by the bar so patrons would periodically bunch up by our table and the terminal to enter orders was behind us so it felt like someone was always standing next to our table. While the bar had a decent number of people the restaurant itself was mostly empty so I am not sure why we were placed there. My wife's drink was good but her Chicken was too lemony (and she really likes lemons) while my lasagna was bland and overcooked. The mozzarella and tomato salad was excellent. Maybe the choices were poor as they seem to be known for seafood or steak. In the end the poor food and constant feeling of people hanging around our table caused us to pay and leave without finishing our meal.

Great food and service!! Mark was our server and he was fantastic! Can’t wait to come back!

The food is exceptional. Everything was excellent (we had escargot, steak, lasagna, and halibut). The front of house service was just okay, but Jennifer (our server) more than made up for the initial impression. I definitely recommend asking for her specifically.
