Anniversary dinner was delicious. Good service. They have been there a long time, and no doubt will remain. Oysters on our next visit.
I had Joe's spud (a huge loaded baked potato) and, my date had a simple chicken salad sandwich. His sandwich was not tasty, he only ate half. Mine was good, I had to bring it home because I couldn't finish eating it. Our server really didn't pay us much attention. He didn't ask about refilling our drinks until we were almost done. Overall, the place was nice, it wasn't loud or, overcrowded.
Excellent quality food in an unassuming environment! Great service, huge portions, fresh ingredients, and nice menu diversity! Close enough to downtown to be convenient, but just far enough out to keep the crowds at bay! I can see why it’s been a Greenville staple for decades! Definitely worth checking out if you’re looking for some quality food at reasonable prices in the downtown/Augusta Rd area!
