Cuishe Cocina Mexicana

All around an incredible food and hospitality experience. Great cocktail program as well! Would highly recommend and hope to return soon.

In town(San Antonio, Texas) for a rock show(Stryper and Vixen, at The Espee) I decided to stay at the Staybridge streets and across the street is Cuishe Cocina. We sat at the bar where Eugenio, our bartender, took amazing care of us. I started off with a couple of ice cold Stellas from the draft. I then paired the next 3 Stellas from the draft with a Happy Hour appetizer, Lengua en Salsa, plus off the menu flautas de pollo. Let me tell you...the ambiance is fantastic, the food is amazing, and the drinks, custom made right in front of you at their bar which offers up Thursday as happy hour day(I would call ahead and inquire on their happy hour drink and food offerings). Easily located off of I-37, this place is easily accessible via Uber or Lyft, or if you are staying at the Staybridge Suites, right across the street. Stop by and say hello to Eugenio, and have him custom make you your favorite drink!

It was our first time and the food tasted very good, only the meat (Arrachera )are very stingy, the first photo is of the restaurant, the second is a sample of how they can improve it, the onion looked like very poor hair. i felt like i was robbed
