I've never had such a disappointing experience in a restaurant when my expectations were so high. My husband and I went here for a quick snack while on a last minute birthday winery and exploration weekend that he planned for me. I had never been to San Antonio and wanted to see the Alamo. As we were driving I saw the restaurant and wanted to stop in for the view and a quick meal. We decided to share the 3 course special they had for $52: Cup of Lobster Bisque, Shrimp Pasta, Mini Chocolate Brownie. Our soup came out pretty quickly. It had a good flavor. Warm. Smooth. Creamy. Very pureed. Not one chuck of lobster in sight. 3/5 Shrimp Pasta 0/5: Came out 55 minutes after we ordered. The shrimp and noodles were cold. The butter sauce that was poured over was hot. Very disappointed with it. We didn't eat it. When the server returned we told her we waited an hour and was unable to wait another hour for a warm version of the meal, so we just wanted to leave. She said she'd speak with a mana

We went at 7pm and I’m thankful I didn’t book 6pm. The Sun was so hot the first rotation of dinner. After that it was a lot better. The food was good. We got 5 things total, shrimp pasta and lava cake not photographed. All of it was very good except the lava cake. It was not good, as all. We only ate half hoping it would get better. For 5 things we spent $132 before tip.

This place is amazing! It was my husband's birthday a couple days ago so I decided to treat him to a dinner 750 ft up in the air <3. The Chart House is located inside Tower of the Americas and it was just amazing. We had to wait maybe like 10 mins for the elevator, once we arrived to the top we were seated right away (made reservation like 2 weeks ago) if you don't have reservations I overheard that the wait was approx. 2 hours. Our table was overlooking outside which was so cool. It rotates but you don't feel it. I ordered the Thai Island Shrimp it was amazing! My husband ordered the prime ribeye, the steak was perfect made. I also ordered a non alcoholic faux-jito yikes that thing was sour, all I could taste was the mint. Didn't end up drinking. Overall, our experience was amazing. I loved it!
