Cristina's Mexican Restaurant

Good food, fast and friendly service. Had a quick lunch.

I've been to Christina's many times but I don't think I've ever blogged about it. Cristina's is a chain in the Dallas area that serves Tex-Mex food. I really enjoy Tex-Mex food especially when it's made well. The first Christina's I went to was in Frisco on 121 and Preston, which is now closed. Their atmosphere is lovely. They have a huge fireplace in the front foyer and a nice large dining area with iron chandeliers. The service was pretty good as well. We enjoy their enchiladas, fish tacos and chicken plates. Great for family meals.

One of the most recognizable dishes at a Tex-Mex restaurant is enchiladas. I have, over the last year, visited numerous Tex-Mex restaurants, ordering specifically this dish. I am happy to say that nobody comes even close to how Christina‘s restaurant chain is preparing this dish. Their plates are super hot, the viscosity of the beans is perfect, the temperature of the cheese inside the enchilada is right on, and so is the temperature and the quality of the rice and the chili con carne sauce. To top it all off, Christina‘s has the very best spicy hot sauce to accompany the meal of any major restaurant chain around. I like to eat hot, and I know the difference between a medium level hot sauce and a high-level hot sauce. Cristina’s is on top of the heap. This sauce alone is a very good reason to visit the restaurant.
