Chipotle Mexican Grill

Everyone was fantastic except for management. I initially watched and easily heard the manager be extremely condescending to the cashier for not stocking while she was actively taking care of a busy line. Her tone was aggressive and the interaction seemed completely unnecessary. I then watched as the manager kept peeking around the corner to watch the cashier work. To say this was micromanaging would be under exaggerating. It was unfortunate because the cashier was actively going and stocking when the line was slow. It sounded like the only way the manager would be happy is if there were two of her. I’m surprised I know this much about their store dynamics but the manager was loudly complaining on the floor about the cashier to other coworkers. I was sitting across the building by the door and my husband and I could both hear it. It was incredibly unprofessional. She came across as a real bully. Ordered online and wasn’t ready on time. Not a huge deal but while I was waiting watched all the employees huddle in the back talking about how they all wanted to go to ihop. Meanwhile a man had been waiting to be served for several minutes as well as myself for my online order. No one greeted us when we came in or anything. Then I can see from where I’m standing a woman preparing my food, not only did she lean on it with her dirty apron, but I watched her wipe the dirty counter off with her hands which she had gloves on, but then continued to make my food. GROSS! Overall, the restaurant was pretty dirty with trash everywhere on the tables, front counters were super dirty with old food, and customer service was sub-par.

Not sure who manages this location, but it’s run terribly. I’ve tried to give this place several chances, but it’s a mess every time. Chipotle corporate needs to step in and assess what’s going on here. Some friendly advice, hang out at a Chick-Fil-A or an In-And Out for a day or two and learn how to properly manage a restaurant.
