As everyone knows, your wait time could be a little long at Cracker Barrel. Understandably!!! With a party of five. (3) very tall men and (2) average size women unfortunately, we were seated and stuffed in a tight corner. Manager (Mike) who is thick in nature and being a little horizontally/diagonally challenged himself, made it a little easy for me to approach him to change our table. But, he wasn't approachable at all... and when I asked him if I could change to another table because my family was uncomfortable, not only his attitude and demeanor suggested but he told me a couple times to get back on the list... and for us that was a No! We had already been waiting over (45) minutes before they called us to a table. Then, when we got to our table the waiter (Theo) appeared to be annoyed as well but finally got his attitude together towards the end of our service. Cracker Barrel has been one of our go to places and although some of the food was ok today. Unfortunately, we will
My first time to a cracker barrel, it was awesome. Gina was my server, she was delightful and provided excellent service. I had the grand ol breakfast, it was so yummy! The biscuits, gravy, grits, sausage, right down to cooking my eggs perfectly. Not to mention the store when you walk in they have so much variety. There is something for everyone! I recommend this establishment.
Visited after early church service so time waiting for table of 5 was approx 25 mins. The silverware that was placed in the paperbag were dirty & I had to ask for a glass of hot water so dip the utensil to clean. I'm guessing they were short handed as the food sides were cold. My daughter & fiancee loaded sweet potato had a large marshmallows that didn't even melt. The butter for my mash potatoes didn't even melt when mixed in. The catfish was good & hot. Hoping next time would be better.
