Cracker Barrel Old Country Store

We just picked up a curbside order and everything but the corn muffins and fried apples were horrible. Chicken dumplings were large lumps of stuck-together dough, the green beans were saturated with oil, the biscuits in the biscuit and gravy were dry and the sausage patties were hard as a brick, the mashed potatoes were the driest mashed potatoes (the gravy didn’t even help), and the breading on the chicken fried steak was also very dry. Other than the friendly lady that brought our food to the truck, this was a very bad experience. Parking: We liked the convenience of curbside parking. It was easy to notify the employees when we arrived and what we were driving.

Took a while to be addressed by the server, several people passed by but no one checked up on us. French Toast was burned. I understand it is the end of the evening but quality should not suffer. No one at the front end asked how the meal was, very shocked. UPDATE: Attempted to make contact with someone on the 800 # but was unsuccessful. UPDATE (10-11-22): After multiple attempts to call the number provided and no attempt to call meback despite leaving the number, it is clear that Cracker Barrel does not care about customer issues because of the volume of people going through their establishment. I will eat non chain more since the big businesses do not care about the little people. Thank You for showing me what you all are about.

What has happened to the quality at this restaurant? We came here last weekend and part of my chicken was raw! Came back this weekend and my husband ordered the hamburger steak, well done. It came to the table and it was so red/pink inside that blood had run out and gotten in the mashed potatoes. They cooked a new hamburger steak but it didn't have any gravy. Asked for a biscuit three times, and never got it. This used to be a quality place. We will not be back!
