The atmosphere & service was good. A little loud but still reasonable. I usually LOVE the food here. However, this time I was not happy. My food was cold & over cooked. The vegetables were hard & undercooked for the whole party of 9, even though we all ordered differently. We spent over $100 PER person & it was NOT worth it at all. I so hope this is a 1 time thing & not a continuance of things to come. We will not be rushing back. The worst part is it was a group for a birthday. Won't be back for mine.
There's really not a lot to complain about with this restaurant. I found the ambience to be quite Pleasant although ambient noise can be an issue with some people with hearing issues. The service was on point fast friendly and professional. The food was high quality and very good. However you would expect it be prepared to pay on average $40 a plate and $12 for a cocktail on average. If you enjoy wine you may want to take a look at their wine club there are some significant discounts they give you for a low monthly fee.
Saturday nights are busy. Also, it is Richmond, so people tend to camp out at their tables, so things can get delayed. We had Steak, Tuna and Chicken. It was all well-prepared. I totally enjoyed it and the drinks. Our server, Emily, was delightful and very good at handling our requests. Everything came out quickly. Overall, this was an excellent place. There are options for everyone in your party and you can trust the kitchen to do things right. Excellent choice for a business dinner or casual meal.
