What’s not to love? A brown bag of focaccia immediately delivered to your table and a delicious wine list? Not to mention the fabulous zucchini blossoms stuffed with ricotta ???? … More
Located in Little Italy, this Italian restaurant offered a full Vegan menu with dessert options as well as a full regular menu for meat eaters. I dined with a non-Vegan friend, they ordered the ravioli and I had the Vegan lasagna. The portion was large and enough for two people. It had the perfect ratio of sauce and cheese with some mushrooms as well. The staff were friendly and attentive and provided great recommendations for our first visit. The bread with olive oil pesto was amazing and literally melted in my mouth. I was tempted to eat the entire bag, it was that good! Can't wait to come back to San Diego to try out other options on the menu.
Civico was a nice and pleasant visit. The food was delicious. There were a lot of outdoor seating on a perfect sunny day. The service was great and it felt very personal that we were well taken care of. The staff were not just friendly but always checked in to make sure we were doing good. The ambience inside was great too. Food was delicious, their focaccia and basil pesto was very good and a must try. The egg plant pasta was delicious too!
