So it's Taco Tuesday... And I got off early from work at 5 so I decided for dinner I wanted some tacos... I heard so much about this place... I couldn't wait... Well unfortunately they close at 3:00... And the other location on St Mary strip closes early too on Taco Tuesday.... So unfortunately I didn't have my tacos from here.... So I came home and made my own so the picture included in this post are the ones that I made...
As many places there are here in SA to get Mexican food, I actually only go to a handful of them as I have been let down too many times by places that lack flavor, fail health inspection, or just have don't know what they're doing in the kitchen. This place doesn't have any of that. This place is amazing and for the pricing, very good food. The gringa tacos are legit and the barbacoa, delicious. Staff is always pleasant and quick. Definitely recommend.
I had the shrimp tacos on corn tortillas taco plate with rice and beans. It was a-maaay-zing! This restaurant is definitely worth visiting if you are in Alamo Heights on a lunch break, or for breakfast.
