The authentic street food experience in Kolkata is hard to match and the food they serve in this place comes pretty close. The crumb coated fish fry was tasty but the chicken biryani was not as distinctive. The decor can make a big impact so maybe they could work on it.

Their Fish Fry won us over, authentically made. The fish had rich flavor in the inside and was nice and crispy outside. 10/10 for this dish, will go again only for this. We also tried the Egg Devil, this was also crispy but the potato inside could use some masala. The pani puri had good taste and so did the chicken egg roll. I think I would have liked just egg roll without chicken. Lastly the chicken biryani didn’t meet our expectations. Service is prompt but little chaotic as they often seem to forget what one has ordered.

It’s hard to find some Authentic street foods of Kolkata at USA. Tried Egg devil ( Dim-er Devil), Fish Cutlet, Kolkata style Egg-Chicken Roll & Keema Ghugni (Mutton Ghugni). All dishes are delicious & reminds me exact tastes Of Kolkata I grew up with & whenever I visit. I even packed some items on my way back. If you’re Bengalee & from Kolkata you’d easily recognize their menu items. I wanted to try all other menu options but my trip was short. Next visit I’ll be back sure.
