Ok Mexican-ish food as always at this chain. My favorite are the just-made tortillas. Average value for the money. My complaint is the wait time. 15 minutes with only 4 people ahead of me and only one person at the line. There were 7 more people doing prep. … More
1st time going, I waited for 10 minutes before someone walked over & handed what my guess is, was my order to a friend and said, "Want this they never showed up?" Then when I said my name, they started to panic before saying they never got my order, then tried to say it was already picked up. It was a nightmare trying to get my food. Then, when I did get it, portions were tiny, items were missing, and the food was cold. I didn't go back for a while when I finally tried again it was just as awful. I was ignored for 20 minutes when I finally got someone's attention. I was told 5 more minutes. 15 minutes passed, there's now a line of people wanting to know what's taking so long. We're all told "5 more minutes". 15 more pass. I asked to see a manager was told no. Asked to cancel my order & be refunded was told no. they say it's because of the queso. I told them just to take that off my order & give me my other food. Was again told no. 20 more minutes pass. Finally, they pick up a bag that
It's really frustrating that there's no option, when calling in an order, to have something on the side. There's not even an option to have it in a note. So if you want the item, you have to pay whatever the item costs like if you were ordering it separately or by itself. For example I ordered a pork burrito and wanted half pinto and half black beans, but on the side Instead of inside the burrito. Well they couldn't do that. It's a call center so it's not their fault. But Café Rio needs to re-design the whole thing. I shouldn't have to pay more for something that already comes with the burrito. Otherwise, their food is great.
