Cafe Rio Mexican Grill

Unfortunately the employees did not understand English well enough to be able to make an enchilada according to order. We ordered three enchiladas. All three ended up with different combinations of rice inside the tortilla, rice added before salamander, rice added after. Some more training would be a good idea. Otherwise it was good. I wish they had a black ice tea option available.

Cafe Rio has always been my favorite restaurant but it feels like every time i go something goes wrong. Today i scanned my app to get rewards with a bonus that i had. The cashier told me and my brother that our gift cards had nothing on them, so my brother paid using his app credit instead. It took all $40 of his credit and then the cashier told us he owed us money. The total was $90 and we ended up paying $140. (no clue how the register overcharged us). We asked if he could give us a gift card with the $9 on it or give us a free meal card and he said no, but he offered us a ‘free’ quesadilla, which would not in fact be free because we paid for it. We said we already had enough food, so the workers tried to figure out how to refund us. We still aren’t sure if we even got our money back because they ended up giving us a gift card with just $0.90 on it. Super yummy!! Only downside was the horchata was warm and not mixed, and the portions aren’t as big as other locations. But still tasted amazing!!! There was also a hair in the food haha
