Burger King

I knew it was a bad sign when every restaurant in the airport had a line 30 people deep except the burger king. With only a few minutes to spare before my flight I decided to try my luck despite my intestines already pleading with me to eat absolutely anything else. As I approached the counter I could see 3 employees. One was back in the kitchen hitting the ceiling with a broom, yep, over the fryers. One employee was casually leaning onto the food warmer (which was packed to the gills with pre-made sandwiches, probably several hours old) while she stared at me with a look like she was almost daring me to order one. If anything, the food would be ready fast I guess. The menu was shockingly limited, the number 1 is a sausage egg croissant. As someone who is allergic to egg I figured I'd get this sandwich without the egg. Lol. The third employee who greeted me with a blank stare and an eye roll received my egg-less request and quickly said "you gotta take the egg of yourself, we're not ma

This place is always so slow. There is zero sign of urgency from the employees. I also saw two employees without any kind of uniform making food despite there being a sign in plain view that said all employees must wear a uniform and appropriate shoes. Why is a busy airport the home of such a bad example of fast food?

At burger kings I only by the vegetarian impossible whopper. It is just as good at this location as any other burger King, except at this location they ask for a lot more money for the same exact thing. It is still better than other options at the airport. So I still bought and enjoyed it.
