Bucci's J Bella

My family and I were there for my grandmothers birthday. To be clear we ordered a variety of things. My two uncles ordered the snapper, my grandmother the salmon, my mother the cod, and I had the steak special. My steak was cooked perfectly. The Brussels sprouts were cooked well and the mash was delicious. Unfortunately the sauce tasted like there was fish cooked previously in the same pan and ruined the flavor completely. Both of my uncles snapper were way over cooked yet the pasta bed it was served on was tepid at best. Even after getting a replacement, the issue persisted. The risotto that came with my mothers cod was bland and tasteless . The only dish that there were no complaints was fortunately my grandmother’s. Service was solid and honestly saved the experience a significant amount, it is just a shame that there seems to be an issue in the kitchen. My family has been here before for the happy hour and the food was far better.

My daughter in law and I dine here once a month or more. The food is excellent and nobody makes a better salad dressing than their celery seed. The bread has a crunchy, delicious crust. We always get their scrumptious pappardelle noodles in Vodka sauce. The portions are good sized and the servers are fast, friendly, very attentive and efficient. We love Sandy. We never have a long wait time because we always get here as soon as they open. This restaurant is the VERY BEST authentic Italian food in Northern Ohio. We are dining here yet again today.

J. Bella is great, but I am surprised at how highly this place is rated. Food is okay but not amazing, price are fine and you definitely get your money's worth but it's Italian food of course you'll have leftovers for days. Restaurant is definitely cramped, tight lanes between tables barely room for two people. Waiters always squeezing past each other or another table creates an odd experience. Food and beverage is fine I'd definitely recommend a reservation, you'll call and they'll tell you that we aren't busy you don't need a reservation then you'll walk into a 40 minute wait when you arrive with a dozen people standing in a lobby area fit for 6 people max.
