Brick House Tavern + Tap

Great place out at Boone's Crossing in Chesterfield. Drink wise they have a full bar, including specialty cocktails, bottled beverages, and premium liquors. Also coke products. They have a large selection of appetizers, including relatively new mozzarella "bricks." They're definitely bigger than your typical sticks, but I would say calling them bricks is an exaggeration. Still, they're hand breaded, well done, with slightly spicy sauce for dipping. Very good. They have good burgers and entrees as well. On this visit I had the chicken tenders. Good flavor, and again hand breaded. Nice and crispy. The layout is fun, too. In addition to the regular tables and booths, some of their tables use sofas so you can really sit back and relax.

The service was great, she was quick and efficient, that's good, now the bad....the burger was so/so...the add on bacon was as thin as McDonald's bacon, paper thin. The restrooms were a mess, feels like under new management that doesn't really care.

This is a great restaurant with interesting couch-like booths. The menu is great, the service is great for the staff they have on hand. I'd go 4.5 if I could, but can't go 5 because I was not served the side item that was listed on the menu because they were "out of it". That would have been fine had the server just informed me of that BEFORE our meal was served, sans side item, and I had to ask why. Simply telling me they were out of hash browns and offering me an alternative before delivering the plate would've gotten a 5 star. Still highly recommended.
