Hands down the best food and excellent customer service, we've had in a long time. Kristen (server) took great care of us. Family of 5, (3 small kids) in a busy restaurant, which was probably understaffed on Easter Sunday, but they had the A Team. No skeleton crew here. Kristen (hope I'm spelling name right), seems like the mom who truly gets just how hard it is to take the whole family out for dinner and accommodates to that level. The food portions were very generous. Needless to say that we left with a to go box. I ordered thinking that the portion sizes were similar to cracker barrel, but they were probably double that. I thought after the past 2 years, customer service, work ethic, hospitality were all dead, but nope-still alive and thriving at Bob Evans! The host (an older gentleman, didn't catch his name) set the caring tone and atmosphere for the whole experience as we arrived. I know it seems silly to leave such a review for Bob Evans, but it truly felt like the good o
The staff was arguing. Being very harsh with each other. Hostess didn't smile, greet, was just in a bad mood. Server yelled at Hostess to not sit anyone else in her section. Hostess said she had large party and couldn't help it. Lady standing around yelled that she was the only one working, that she had to do everything herself. While staff was rushing past her working. After a 40 min wait, we left. It ruined our anniversary breakfast. We have 4 kids that we needed to get back to. Very unprofessional.
Ah, Bob's. Being a Texas transplant, I didn't get to know the joy of a Bob Evans restaurant until 2014, when my then-date, now-wife introduced me to the restaurant. Since that was where we had our first date, we're kinda fond of Bob's, so I'm absolutely biased in favor of this chain. (Look, you can have your first dates at upscale restaurants, or other places that cost more, but we ended up at a Bob's because it was convenient and she already knew that the atmosphere inside was good for having conversations with the other people at your table or booth. So, if you're interested in affordable food, good conversation, and a convenient location, Bob's is a solid pick.) So. This location. Good to go. Busy? Oh, yeah, but not as much as the Wild Eggs or First Watch in the general vicinity of this Bob's. I've been twice in the last few weeks and, both times, it was for breakfast on a weekend morning. (For the most-recent trip with my wife and in-laws, we drove past First Watch, saw the jam-pac
