Bluebonnet BBQ

Our waitress was so sweet and attentive. The food was good and portions were big. My husband got the 2 plate with pepper sausage and brisket. He got it with corn and mac n cheese, and they don't skimp on the butter like some places. I got the Ellie which is a huge baked potato with butter, sour cream, chives and chopped brisket (choice). I will say they love their pepper here, the bark on that brisket was very peppery. I also loved the pickled onions that came with my husband's meal. He hates onions, but those were so good. I got the bread pudding to eat at home and it was so good, even heated up again. We will be back.

One of the best dining experiences in a long time. Service was friendly, efficient, and most of all welcoming. On top of that, the food was outstanding. Everything we ordered was phenomenal. The “Torpedoes” were an excellent starter, followed by some of the greatest bbq. We will definitely be regulars. Thank you Bluebonnet BBQ!!

Now Siri recommended this location as I was arriving in the area, I was hungry and figured I’d give it a try. It’s located just off of 287 and out by itself. I noticed the parking lot was full and it was about 4pm on a Sunday. Upon entering the building I was politely greeted and escorted to a table. The restaurant was clean, had a nice atmosphere, and smelled nice. Of course with bbq cooking how could it not smell good! You order from your table and a waitress/waiter will bring you your food. I ordered the brisket and pepper sausage with a tea and lemon! Everything was excellent including the buttered toast. I was pleased with the service completely! I did notice that my brisket was quite fatty and requested a more lean cut, which was promptly brought out to me. If you prefer the lean cut, I recommend requesting that up front.
