Reading the reviews I was excited to try this local good food. The restaurant looks great. Beautiful setting by the water and lots of seating. The hostess seated us quickly outside. Then we waited and waited for services. After 10 minutes with all kind of people walking by us but NO one came to check on us or take our order. I flag down the hostess to ask for our server. 5 more minutes passed and no one. I give it one last chance and went to look for the manager. All my years and thousands of restaurant I have yet to go to the manager for service. Finally Will showed up after the manager followed me to my table. We were able to order. Finally. The food is delicious. Will recovered and did well after. Hope they get this resolved the long wait for service.
Had the Lobster bowl for Sunday brunch and one of their massive donuts. Delicious!!! Had a bit of a wait (45 minutes) despite lots of empty tables. But they have a great menu...would love to come back to try more! Very generous portions! Friendly staff! Highly recommend!
This was my first visit and most likely my last. So here goes. The first issue was the wait, yet there were at least 16 tables open to diners and the bar was the highlight of this place. Despite a health code violation (more flies than necessary) the bar options were spot on. Strong and flavorful. A gratuity charge was added at about 50%. Drinks were $12 and total came out to $21, yet we tipped $5 anyway, just for GP. Waited about 20 minutes before being seated for 2, lmao, but that's typical. We were seated in the most condensed high foot traffic area and I couldn't pull my seat any closer to the table. We received 2 complimentary sweet potato biscuits, which were underwhelming served in a dish plate that had room for a dozen more, but it was free. Ordered the crab dip which was surprisingly tasty, layered with cheese and home made chips. Ordered entrees, crab crusted salmon for $35 a piece. My sides were mac n cheese and mashed potatoes.
