Sandbridge Island Restaurant

After being at Sandbridge beach, for a few hours, we cross the street to the sandwich island restaurant, which did not disappoint. We were greeted by a young man that took us to a table and asked us if it was OK for us, since we wanted to be in a place, that was cool enough. They also have outdoor seating and a large dining room, area to fit their guests. Our waiter, Luke, was personable and attentive. There’s a long list of libations as well as nonalcoholic beverages. We had a beer on tap and a frozen piña colada. We did not have to wait very long. The menu was full of steamed or fried choices as well as sandwiches. We opted for fried clam strips and fried shrimps. Both plates are served with fries, but our service suggested we could also try the hush puppies for an extra dollar. That was a great deal. I should arrive pretty quick, and it was hot and delicious. The basket to share with a coleslaw, which is sprinkled with cayenne pepper. We asked for tartar sauce, and it was tasty and

We have gone to Sandbridge restaurant when we travel to VB for 4 years now. Wonderful food and wait staff. I left our credit card there accidently, and the waitress, Chloe, secured it and I recovered it later that afternoon. Chloe's Dad was the featured singer on the deck that afternoon. He is quiet good with an extensive repertoire. Good times today!

My wife and I frequent this restaurant often. On our visit today we experienced a first for any restaurant ever in my life. When we were seated, the young hostess conferred with What we thought was the experienced hostess and they discussed where to seat us. The young hostess sat us at a 6 top table and my wife even commented wow this is a big table for the two of us, and there were several 4 tops empty. We ordered our food and we’re enjoying our meal when the young hostess informed us they had a very large party come in and they asked us to please move to one of the other tables. Wow. How rude. We dine out 10-12 times a month and am in my mid 60’s and have never experienced the gall to ask someone to change tables mid meal. Ridiculous. Won’t go back
