Way over priced! Limited menu. Chicken dish was boring, over cooked. A small salad would have made the entree worth the cost. Husband enjoyed the duck. Expected more choices. Mussels were excellent. Service was outstanding.
We went there for my mother's birthday and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. We were a party of four everybody got something different everybody was blown away with the preparation, taste, and portion size (portion size was bigger than most restaurants of this caliber, I wouldn't call them huge but it was enough to give you a good meal) I had the duck and it was, I kid you not, the best duck I have ever had! My wife had the shrimp and my Mom had the Chicken francaise and she said it was fabulous. And the service was incredible, I highly recommend this place! Vegetarian options: I'm not a vegetarian so I didn't pay much attention but I'm sure you can get a great vegetarian meal here. Kid-friendliness: We brought our 6-month-old son and we forgot a spoon to feed him his sweet potatoes ???? so are awesome server brought us an expresso spoon, which is tiny, and we fed him with that and it worked perfectly! The Best. I had the Garlic cesar and it was just absolutely fabulous. Best cesar ive ever had, tossed in the dressing just right and hearts of romaine. I also had a grilled chicken with carrots ???? and green beans- aas fantastic and just right. Don the GM was a true GM, great customer service gives the customer what they want. Ill be back often you have a new fan for Bijou ill travel from saint pete to eat here any day!
