Servicer was slow and completely absent until payment/tip was submitted. Pizza sorely lacked the boasted topping being laid on thick and pizza was tibid at best when it finally reached the table. No offer of a refill or even napkins during this visit. Completely lacking the Beggers brand.
This isn’t the first time we have had trouble with beggars new Lenox, I will now say never again! The crust is so thick now I don’t want to fill up on dough! but the worst thing is there isn’t NEARLY enough pizza sauce. I mean barely ANYTHING! We also couldn’t taste the garlic. We ordered a family garlic half sausage half spinach… AND WITH DELIVERY AND TIP IT WAS Over 50.00! Seriously? For pizza. No taste, no sauce, no thank you!
Very hard to find a place where the service matches the quality of the food or vice versa but the New Lenox Beggars sets the standard. Took my family, wife and 2 young children, for dinner tonight. The pizza was delicious with tons of toppings, appetizers were great and the deep dish cookie was AMAZING! The owner was present which is a rarity these days so that was great to see. He was very friendly and attentive to our needs. Our server, Sarah, was a rockstar! My 2 year old spilled her chocolate milk all over the table and she was super kind and helped get it cleaned up and hurried over another chocolate milk for my kiddo. We have just found our pizza night go to, thanks for everything today Beggars Team!
