Awesome Times TX

We finally tried Awesome Times, and it was amazing! I read an article that they wanted a neighborly feel, and they’ve got exactly that! Even before we got our food, we saw and felt how comfortable and friendly it is there! We were hoping that the food was just as great! My husband ordered the Marauder Philly steak sandwich and loved it! It was steaming when it came out, and he said it melted in his mouth! I ordered a cheeseburger. The hamburger patties for hand formed, and the burger was delicious! The tater tots were crispy on the outside, not soggy. Our Bloody Mary’s were perfect! The owners are so friendly, and so is the rest of the staff! Everything is very clean. It’s the perfect neighborhood restaurant hangout and bar! Definitely has a hometown, family feel! We will be back for sure!

We had our fIrst trip to Awesome Times last night and it was fantastic. It used to be great seeing Jerry set up his cooktop down at What's on Tap because you knew you were in for a treat. Now that he's got his very own place it's even better. My wife had the grilled chicken salad and I had the Duke City burger. We also shared an order of the Big Jim tots. Everything was great. We will definitely be back. There are lots of items on the menu we need to try. Anyone looking for a great casual environment to enjoy some great food and wash it down with a nice cool beverage, Awesome Times is your place.

Super fun interior, nice little setup. Might have to give this one another shot, cheese steaks were pretty good, but wasn't a big fan of the tots, pretty greasy food overall
