Aubergine

Wonderful food! Very vegetarian/vegan friendly and super light. The chef (maybe also the owner?) was clearly extremely passionate about her cooking, and she knocked it out of the park. Will definitely go back next time I go to St. Louis.

This place is worth the little extra it takes to find! Right off Washington behind the burger place. Oh my, the Thai tea with fresh mint, delicious. And all of the food looks so good, can’t go wrong with any of it. So fresh! Can’t wait to go back! Right across the street from Embassy Hotel, so convenient!

Great food and friendly service. They say about themselves "Thai with a twist", which is true. We stopped by on a Thursday evening, the place was not too crowded and we could choose our table ourselves, which was nice. We had a couple of questions concerning the menu and the waitress explained it all very friendly to us. So we had the vegetarian garden spring rolls as a starter and afterwards the red curry with chicken and also a yellow curry, which was on the special menu. The food is freshly prepared, good sized portions and most important delicious. As drinks we had the Thai Ice Tea, also great, especially with the Thai food. Last not least I'd like to mention, that the atmosphere in the restaurant is very nice, very bright, open and airy. Definitely 5*
