Atwater's Catonsville

A few months ago we came to Atwater’s for breakfast. Waited an hour for our food and had to ask several times before staff told us our order didn’t print in the kitchen. Gave it another go this week and waited 30 minutes this time for to-go breakfast and drinks. Again, having to ask what the hold up was. Drinks were cold by the time I got home and my food order was wrong, missing egg on our Avocado toast. Seems to me that there is a disconnect between the cashiers and the kitchen. Food and drink are good, the atmosphere is nice too. But more communication would be nice. I will probably skip on Atwater’s next time I think of where to grab a coffee and a bite given service and high pricing.

This is a great place for coffee or breakfast. There is a good selection for both on the menu, and it is a nice atmosphere. The egg sandwich I had was very good. There is abundant seating upstairs, and free water available upstairs as well. The downside is that the stairs are fairly steep, and it is a bit tricky carrying a coffee mug upstairs. I would definitely return. Update: I did return and enjoyed the same thing! The breakfast platter also looked good.

I wanted something different for lunch. I came in and purchased your Turkey Cobb Sandwich, which comes with pickles. The sandwich was delicious. I didn’t know it would have avocados on it. But it was a pleasant surprise. I wanted a Diet Coke, but they don’t serve diet drinks, just unsweetened drinks. I may try a fresh drink next time. The staff was friendly and had a welcoming atmosphere. Maybe, next time I will purchase dessert.
