Applebee's Grill + Bar

Super-busy due to Veteran's customers. Even at that, my steak was cooked to perfection. The broccoli was gently crisp and the mashed potatoes were-- mashed potatoes! Great meal. I do like Applebee's, but the past few times have been very long wait (I get it that there's a worker shortage). Today after a 15 minute wait (we were the only ones in line), and the staff talking among themselves about only having for waiters, and shutting down to only for sections, we were finally seated (which is acceptable, considering their situation). However, it took about 15 minutes for our waitress to get to us to take drink orders (2 waters, 2 iced teas). We didn't see her again for at least 20 minutes, maybe longer--cuz we decided to call it a night. As we quietly left, I let the hostess know we were leaving and still didn't see her anywhere in the building. Please do better Applebee's, because you really didn't today.
