Anchor Bar

Great wings! Service was a little lacking on this visit. Anchor Bar had an app and if it’s your bday week you can get $15 off your bill. When I asked our server about it and that I can’t get the app because I’m Canadian she dismissed it and just said there is nothing she can do. It wasn’t really the fact that I couldn’t get the discount, but they way she was kind of rude about it. Again, wings are some of the best I’ve had. Worth a visit.

The best chicken Wing experience I have ever had! Medium Hot Buffalo wings with extra celery and blue cheese! Delicious! It’s the original.. how could you not?

Honestly, I would give this 4.5 ⭐ if able, but, 5 will do. This place was hoping on the 4th, but they were slinging wings left right and center at a good click. My server had about 1 million things going on, but she did well to give attention to me and all others bellied up to the bar. The food itself was as reasonably priced as you can expect wings from a well known joint these days. You did get your money's worth in terms of the size ( & meat) of the wings, and the amount of sauce used. My honey bourbons were flavorful, nice sticky sauce. Not crunchy crispy skin, but not soft, so a happy middle ground. I've had Anchor Bar sauce before, and honestly thought it was below average...some ranging on pure vileness. Glad to see the actual location (s) do a much better job.
