Amazing Lebanese food with high quality ingredients. Even their bread (ordered separately) is so fresh and delicious. I went there with the kids and we all loved it. The service is also excellent with friendly staff and quick service, for a fine dining restaurant. We would definitely come again and order the same food.
Ammatoli is a gem. We make sure to come here every single time we are in Southern California, not just Long Beach, but Southern California. It is absolutely worth at least an hour drive in our opinion. Where to start? Their starters are fantastic, our favorite that we tried being the Fried Kibbeh. So simple, so good, fried bulgar stuffed with their perfectly seasoned and well cooked ground beef and nuts, it’s amazing. Texture is perfect, not too dense on the inside and not dry whatsoever. On our last trip we also tried the Spinach Kibbeh, same concept instead this time the filling was a wet spinach mix that reminded me of the taste and texture of collard greens. Both Kibbeh are amazing and 100% worth the price. Onto the entrees, we’ve tried their Spicy Garlic Lemon Chicken, their Moussaka, and I couldn’t find it again on the menu but it was like a chicken shawarma drenched in a green Chile sauce (sorry about that). This restaurant has left the best impressions! Welcoming servers, very good dishes, beautiful presentation, and most importantly delicious dessert. The food brings back a lovely feeling of being back home in the Middle East. Everything was perfect. I would totally recommend coming to Ammatoli.
