Lupe's De La Mar

My husband and I went there for dinner last night. The food was amazing. We ordered the whole fish, grilled oysters, shrimp agua chili and crispy rice ceviche. Everything was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The service was also great. I highly recommend this place to all seafood lovers.

So happy that Lupe’s reopened after this tough Covid surge. They are back and even more delicious than before. Mind blown at everything we ordered. Flavorful, yet nothing was too overpowering. The flavors of the meat and seafood come through beautifully and enhanced by the ingredients they are cooked with. Their cocktails are also bomb! Would also like to thank Sam, our friendly and helpful server who made sure my mom who mistook the habanero for tomato recover from the heat ????.

This place opened at the beginning of the pandemic and I've been waiting to checking it out. So today was the day. I ordered the La Conejita cocktail, a bourbon and carrot juice drink. I was really surprised by how good it tasted. For dinner, I ordered the seared diver scallops. I was a little disappointed in the size of the scallops. It looked like they sliced a regular scallop into three slices so they were really thin. But the sauce was savory with a bit of a kick. I also ordered corn tortillas, which are hand made and delicious, not knowing they were an extra charge. At least the bartender was very cordial. Parking: There is a parking structure adjacent to the business with free 2 hour parking.
