From the moment I walked through the door until the final bite of my perfectly cooked steak, I was treated to an unforgettable culinary journey. They officially opened at 4:30 p.m. but the bar is open early to sit inside. Customer Service was 5 star from the time we walked in until the time we left. It reminds you of a steakhouse in New York. The servers are extremely knowledgeable of wine and food pairings. If you are a wine novice, this is the place for you. We had the sample appetizer (tempura shrimp, crab cake, and calamari). The calamari was cooked perfectly (for me, that is not chewy). The crab cake was delicious along with the sauce. The tempura shrimp was beautifully fried and large. This really could have been our meal. We had the New York Strip Steak, Scallops, Salmon, and the grilled porkchop- everything was seasoned to perfection. The lobster risotto must be tried. So you ask why 4 stars for food instead of 5 - two things - the whipped sweet potatoes tasted like baby food, so imagine eat the gerber baby food sweet potatoes and they had no sweet tea- this is Texas Sweet Tea is a must
Always excellent service and top notch food. Al is a great guy and always takes care of his guests. If you want an upscale experience and food to match this is the place.
