Understandably almost a 2 hour wait because of the time and day (Saturday at 6pm). No problem there. We weren't quite sure how we felt about the appearance to start with (not the cleanest looking). Took 10 minutes to get our watered-down drinks that sat on the counter before we asked where they were. Ordered food and more than 26 minutes later I noticed one of the cooks cough on his hand then proceed to bread raw chicken without washing his hands or wearing gloves. That was it for us. Hungry and annoyed, I let the manager know that we were leaving and why. She was apologetic, but it sure couldn't save the day for us. Wish we could've gotten to try 4+ star food. Sadly, it wasn't the case.
We went on a Friday evening, were seated quickly and no one came in after us. Menu was smaller than the one posted online which was ok. They only have one salad dressing, it was basically water and mustard. Service was poor. Our first drinks came quickly. My husband asked for another beer which never arrived, asked for a water halfway through dinner which she brought after we already had the bill. The real issue was my seafood pasta. It had so many shells that I couldn’t even take a bite without a shell. I expect a shell or two or even 3 or 4, but this was every bite. The waitress appeared very overwhelmed, there were two for this small restaurant which should be adequate. I mentioned the shells, ate the shrimp which were shell free and moved on. Paid our bill, tipped and left. Would not go here again and do no recommend. My husband ordered pasta with Italian sausage. Barely and sauce and sausage was dry. There are so many options in this area, skip it and try somewhere else. Place was
Absolutely delightful food and atmosphere. The service is also phenomenal! Katherine and Chelsea helped us, and are both so nice, accommodating, and welcoming, despite being understaffed and stretched quite thin. We had the stuffed flounder with ocean sauce and the cannelloni with spinach Italian sausage. Both sooooo good. Definitely come here if you’re in the area!
