A-1 WOK RESTAURANT

I really can't stand this overrated place ????????‍♂️ takes forever for your order, and they also short the hell out of it.. they simply got my business because ho's on Broadway is was closed today.

I was charged over $12 for a 1/2 order of chicken fried rice and an order of crab ragoon.. That was my 1st and last visit. Not worth that much money, Hong Kong Express on S.Grand is much better.

I gave them a 5 star for the food, but the phone customer service from one of the cooks was rude. I was able to place an order on the phone, but when I asked how much is it so that I would bring enough money, he got angry and told me that he does not give prices on the phone. Moreover, he told me I had to order in the restaurant, pay for the food, and then he will cook it and then he hung up the phone. When I called back to get an understanding of what just happened, the person accused me of asking over and over how much and that was not true; I only asked him once, and he refused to honor my order on the phone. I only continued with buying food from them because I promised my co-worker I would treat her to lunch from A-1 Wok because she likes their chinese food and it was her birthday. They are also more expensive than other chinese restaurants whose food is just as good if not better. Thank you.
