I’ve never tasted food as good as ZZQ. Hands down best there is. My go to is Tres Hombres because you get 3 diff styles of meat. Collard greens and jalapeño Mac and cheese will top it off! If you have not eaten here.. what are you waiting for?! If you’re in a rush for lunch get there 11:15-11:30 to beat the rush. They do sell out! Brisket and hot sausage will blow your taste buds. Also try the turkey!! So so good.
Really good! Not the best bbq in Virginia, but dang near the top. Prices were great and servings were generous. They had three sauces, and none of them were my favorite, but there were all good. Mission BBQ has nothing on these guys Parking: Parking is lite. You may have to pay for street or lot parking.
Found this awesome BBQ place from a recommendation from Diners, Drive Inns & Dives!!! Wow…definitely the top 3 BBQ restaurants I’ve visited outside of Texas. The brisket was out of this world!!! The sides: cucumber salad, garlic mash potatoes, cole slaw and jalapeño Mac n cheese were delicious!!! The bourbon pecan pie and the pumpkin cheesecake were absolutely delicious. Also tried the banana pudding, but it was a disappointment…was watered down and had very little flavor. But everything else was very, very good. A bit on the pricey side, but that’s understandable after the pandemic…all cost has gone up. Highly recommend this place whenever in the Richmond area.
