ZUKA SUSHI & HIBACHI GRILL

We went to Zuka today for our annual holiday luncheon with my awesome friends from ALA. Lee and his staff were so accommodating, hospitable, and inclusive from the moment we walked in. Our Hibachi Chef Jerry made sure to entertain us while preparing our amazingly delicious food. We made an awesome holiday memory and Zuka will now be a part of our annual tradition. This is one of the newer Japanese Hibachi restaurants in the Naperville area. Its actually not bad. Bit smaller in size but well organized and clean. They have a small traditional sit-down booth section and 6 Hibachi tables and a bar area. Hibachi table is shared with other customers like many other places. Food quality, taste and prices are decent. I would recommend their golden (egg yolk) shrimp with steak combo. I liked that you get noodles as part of the dinner, along with fried rice and shrimp appetizer along with soup and salad. Couple of things that need improvement are they felt short staffed and the wait staff were always in the rush and did not pay much attention to if we needed anything else. Other area of improvement was, the food felt bit on the oily side. Over all if you dont feel like driving to Chicago I would recommend this place. Definitely better than some of the other local options.

My wife and I stopped in on a weekend. Place was immaculate. Clean, smelled wonderful. Staff was courteous and attentive. Hibachi chef was skilled and got in and out which is what we like, not over talkative, not forced. She loved the sushi and shrimp. I enjoyed chicken and steak. My wife no longer wants to go to Shinto, this is her new go to sushi spot!
