Zippy's Vineyard

First time trying this place out since I haven’t been in the area and my brother said it’s good. Can confirm. I had the Chicken Trio which came with Fried Chicken, Chicken Katsu, & Korean Fried Chicken. Mostly wanted to try the last two and man are they good, they give you some BBQ sauce but the chicken doesn’t even need it. Crispy outside with a tender inside. I will most likely come back again before returning home!

If ever you are in Honolulu, you should check out Zippy's restaurants. Each branch is a local favorite. They serve delicious local dishes such as Zip Min, which is a favorite of mine. It comes with noodles, wun tun, breaded shrimp, choi sum, fish cake, dried seaweed, egg, sweet pork and green onions. There are also daily specials, plus you can order a complete meal that comes with dessert.

We visited Zippy’s just after the normal lunch period. Service was fantastic. Seating was very convenient was a large amount of seating available. I had a bowel of clam chowder which was perfect for a main course. For me, a cup of chowder would be a great side dish. This location was divided into different sections. A huge main dining area, a take out area and bakery which I thought was a perfect set up. Parking: Parking spots were about twenty. Little tricky to get into because the entrance was one way in and one way out with the only option being a right turn on Vineyard.
