Let me begin with the parking here, it's not great at all! Parking is limited in front of Jolene's. Also, lots of weird people are out in front. There was some dirty looking people behind our truck but they were friendly and moved. Not sure what kind of deal they were all doing. I'm not trying to assume anything but they were suspicious. One of the guys yelled at his girl and then kept on talking to the other guys. Not a good place to be. We got the buttah lobster roll with curly fries and the lobster melt with tomato bisque. The lobster roll is always a winner. The lobster melt was good but the lobster didn't taste fresh. I had my husband, family members, and friend taste it as well and they said the same thing. Not sure if I just had a bad lobster. My stomach turned within an hour. The bisque was really good. I think we will try the lobster melt at the airport location instead. If your near Chinatown, you should still stop by and try the buttah lobster roll. It's expens
I ate here for the first with my cousin. He highly recommended this place and we both got the lobster melt and corn chowder. Man have I been missing out on some delicious food. The lobster melt was stuffed with lobster that was held together by lots of cheese and toasted butter bread. For $1 more, you can make your meal a combo and I got the corn chowder which was hearty and tasty. The service at the Chinatown location was great. The servers were nice and friendly and our waters were never empty. They checked in on us 3 times to see how we were doing and our server provided extra napkins without us asking. 5 stars here.
Nice place with friendly staff and good customer service. Lobster roll is toasted but actual lobster is more of a cold salad. Good portion and nice presentation. Corn chowder would be great with some seafood added.
