Zaza Cuban Comfort Food

Don’t get me wrong, I love Zaza, but this location is absolutely DISGUSTING. It was dirty, like when I mean dirty, visible dust and dirt on the floor, the tables and crumbs, straw wrappers and sauce on them. The staff just stood behind the counters laughing and talking, as my mother and I had to clean our own table. I worked in the restaurant industry before but I would never leave a table dirty, or let alone, let a customer clean their own table. The staff wasn’t even friendly at all, we weren’t greeted and we stood at the counter for a good 2 minutes waiting for the cashier to finish her conversation(which was nothing about work) with her coworker. They were out of every single soda, and tea, I had to keep swatting flies away just to eat my cold food. I will not be returning.

First experience at Zaza was at MCO last year and loved it! Actually ordered their coffee online and shipped it to Pittsburgh soon after. We were excited to get to the location in Altamonte Springs this year! It did not disappoint. The iced coffee and expresso is fantastic and the pastries are to die for! If you have never been here, you should definitely stop in! They even had Presidente beer!

Used to love this place but the last year or so their portions sizes halved! If you order a side of maduros you should get more than a third of the plantain! Its not like they are expensive or hard to make ???? The flavors used to be on point but lately its like they forgot to season anything. Way too expensive for what you get.
